Audi Paint Specialists
We work only on Audi vehicles, so we know their paint codes well. We also understand each model’s panel shapes and factory finishes.
Restore the depth, colour and gloss your Audi left the factory with.
We reverse Dubai sun damage with exact OEM paint matching. Get a flawless finish on any panel, backed by factory grade clear coat and strict paint thickness measurements.
Audi paints its cars in layers. A cathodic dip coat protects the metal from corrosion, followed by filler, base coat and a clear lacquer on top. The clear coat gives the gloss and blocks UV light. At Volkswagen Group sister brand Porsche, that clear coat is just 40 to 45 microns thick, thinner than a sheet of paper.
That thin layer works hard in the UAE. The country recorded its hottest spring on record in 2025, and Sweihan hit 51.8°C on 1 August. The UV index regularly reaches 11 or higher in summer, the “extreme” category. Dark paint in direct sun gets far hotter than the air around it.
Several Dubai conditions add to the damage:
Slowly uses up the UV absorbers in the clear coat. Once they are gone, the colour underneath starts to fade.
Expand and shrink the paint every day. This weakens the bond between clear coat and base coat over time.
Act like fine sandpaper during wiping and automatic car washes.
Are acidic and bake into the clear coat within hours in summer.
From sprinklers and car washes leave mineral rings that etch the surface.
Stone chips, key scratches, scuffed bumpers and parking marks are repaired panel by panel. Shallow marks are machine polished. Deeper damage is filled, primed, colour matched and blended into the next panel so no edge shows. If a panel is dented, our body shop straightens it first.
When the clear coat turns cloudy, cracks or starts to lift, polishing will not fix it. We sand away the failed clear coat, check the base colour underneath and apply a fresh 2K clear coat across the whole panel. Spot repairs on failing clear coats rarely last in Dubai heat, so we treat the panel as one unit.
Peeling usually starts on the roof, bonnet and boot lid, the panels that face the sun most. Once the clear coat lifts, moisture and dust get underneath and the peel spreads. We remove all loose paint back to a stable edge, feather the surface, rebuild the layers and refinish the panel.
Fading shows as a dull, chalky colour, often on red, blue and black Audis. If the clear coat still has enough thickness, multi stage machine polishing can bring the colour back. If the colour has faded through the base coat, the panel needs repainting. Our paint gauge reading tells us which option will work.
Sun damage moves through stages: gloss loss, fading, clear coat cracking, then peeling. We assess each panel separately, because your roof may need a respray while your doors only need correction. You only pay for the panels that truly need paint.
Oxidation leaves a rough, powdery film that comes off on your finger. It is common on older Audis parked outside without a cover. Light oxidation is removed by compounding and polishing. Heavy oxidation, where the paint has broken down, is sanded back and refinished.
We offer full Audi resprays in the original colour or a new one, including metallic, pearl and matt finishes. For a colour change, Dubai rules apply. You need a colour change permit before the work, and your Mulkiya must be updated afterwards. An unregistered colour change can block your registration renewal, so we advise you on the steps before we start.
| What you see | Layer affected | Usual fix |
|---|---|---|
| Swirls, light scratches, dull gloss | Top of clear coat | Machine polishing |
| Water spots or bird dropping marks | Clear coat surface | Polishing or wet sanding |
| Chalky, faded colour | Clear coat thinned or base coat faded | Polishing if thick enough, otherwise respray |
| Cloudy or milky patches | Clear coat breaking down | Panel clear coat repair |
| Cracks or flaking film | Clear coat failing | Sand back and re-clear panel |
| Colour peeling to grey primer | Base coat and clear coat | Full panel refinish |
| Chip down to bare metal | All layers | Treat corrosion, then refinish |
Every correction removes a small amount of clear coat. With only around 40 microns to work with, aggressive polishing can leave too little clear coat to protect the colour. That is why we measure paint thickness on each panel with a digital paint gauge before recommending work.
The reading also shows whether a panel has been repainted before. That matters when you buy a used Audi, which is why every pre purchase inspection we carry out includes a paint check. If a panel can be saved by polishing, we will tell you. We only recommend a respray when the paint cannot be restored any other way.
Every Audi colour has a four character paint code, such as LY9C for Ibis White or LZ7S for Nardo Grey. You will find it on the vehicle data sticker in the spare wheel well or boot floor, and in the service booklet.
The code is only a starting point. Neutral colours make up 74% of new cars built worldwide, and white, black and grey are among the hardest to match. Metallic flakes and pearl layers look different from each angle. Sun faded panels also no longer match the original code.
That is why we:
We inspect every panel of your Audi and record its paint thickness. This shows exactly how much clear coat is left.
We explain the work each panel needs and give you a written price. No work begins until you approve the scope.
We remove trims and badges, then mask the surrounding areas. The damaged area is sanded and primed to create a smooth base.
We mix the paint to your Audi’s factory colour code. A test card is sprayed and checked against your car before painting.
Base coat and 2K clear coat are applied in a dust controlled paint booth. This keeps dirt and particles out of the fresh finish.
We bake the new paint so it hardens fully and bonds properly. This makes the finish strong enough for polishing and Dubai heat.
We cut and polish the repaired area to match the factory texture. The gloss then blends evenly with the rest of the car.
We inspect the finished paint in daylight and under workshop lights. Your Audi is handed back only when every panel matches.
We work only on Audi vehicles, so we know their paint codes well. We also understand each model’s panel shapes and factory finishes.
We gauge the paint on every panel before recommending any work. You get the least invasive repair that will still last.
We mix your exact paint code and spray test cards first. Panels are blended where needed, so no repair edges show.
We use durable 2K clear coats and cure every repair properly. The finish is built to hold up through Dubai’s summer heat.
Our body shop repairs dents and collision damage before any paint goes on. Each panel is straight and smooth before it is refinished.
You receive a written quote before any work starts on your Audi. If anything changes, we update you and wait for approval.
A single panel usually takes one to two working days, including curing time. A full respray can take one to two weeks, depending on prep work and the colour.
Often, yes. If the clear coat is still thick enough, machine polishing can bring back colour and gloss. We measure each panel to confirm before recommending it.
UV light and heat break down the clear coat over time, especially on the roof and bonnet. Once it lifts, the damage spreads. The panel then needs sanding and a new clear coat.
Yes. We mix your Audi paint code, check it on a test card and blend into nearby panels. This also accounts for any fading on the original paint.
Yes. You need approval before the colour change and must update your registration afterwards. We guide you through the process before work begins.
Yes. Matt and satin finishes need special clear coats and cannot be polished like gloss paint. Damaged matt panels are usually refinished as a whole panel.
A quality repair in the factory colour protects value better than visible damage. Poor repaints with colour differences or overspray lower it, which is why matching matters.
Hand wash only for the first few weeks and avoid wax until the paint has fully cured. We will advise when it is safe to add a ceramic coating.
